about me

I am a mom of three, wife to one, friend to many.  

I am a certified Wellness Coach, graduate of the Institute of Integrated
Nutrition, and healthy lifestyle advocate.  With that being said, I enjoy life! 
I eat what I want but always come back to the basics of a whole-food,
plant-focused, animal-protein mindset.  That may not be for everyone,
but for me and my body- it works.  


I have been to endless wellness retreats, health seminars, zen events, and the same thing always strikes me, who are they talking to?  I am a busy mom.  Who can make a green shake while holding a tree pose, spiralizing veggies for that night's dinner, prepping kid's school lunches for the next day, packing healthy snack options for after school (and, yet still acceptable by picky kiddos)... and the list goes on.  I know I couldn't and I am sure some of you cannot either, so I found a way that works for me and I would love to share it with you.  We are in this together, because us momma's know it takes a village.

Aside from appreciating food from the ground and how it nourishes my body, I have come to recognize my mind is nourished from acts of self-care and engaging in those disciplines as often as I can, not everyday but as often as life allows.  A team train work-out session, acupuncture, massage, a long walk, ducking my toes into the warm sand on a summer day, basking in the giggles of my three kiddos, or taking a second to say "i got this"... and YOU can too!
